Recently, there has been an increasing number of phishing emails impersonating legitimate organizations and individuals with the apparent aim of obtaining personal information.
On October 22, 2026, we became aware of an email sent from a Gmail account using the name of one of our affiliated members and bearing the subject line “岩石風化促進技術組合” (“Enhanced Rock Weathering Technology Association”). The email instructed recipients to join a LINE group and is believed to be a phishing attempt similar to those that falsely appear to originate from company presidents, association leaders, or other executives.
Please note that our Association did not send this email.
If you receive a similar message, please do not open it and delete it immediately. If you have already opened the email, do not click any links or open any attachments contained within it.
